Estate on the Halifax Wedding / Port Orange, FL

Winter weddings in Florida are my favorite!  It’s almost a guarantee for nice weather and recently I had the best day working at Estate on the Halifax in Port Orange was no exception.  The combination of a calm overcast day, cool temps, an incredible group of people, and a stunning property, it really was a day that felt relaxed, romantic, and timeless from start to finish

The Estate on the Halifax is such a hidden gem. It’s located right the river and the property feels both grand and intimate, with huge oak trees, lush gardens, and historic architecture that creates a truly elegant backdrop. Every corner of the venue offers something different and it’s like a hidden fairytale venue. It’s quiet, scenic, and full of charm, which made it a dream location to photograph!

The couple themselves were an absolute joy to work with. They were incredibly sweet, genuine, and so down to earth, which made every moment feel natural and heartfelt. Their connection was effortless, and it showed in every smile, laugh, and quiet in-between moment. Photographing them felt so easy and being able to simply document their love as it unfolded throughout the day was so much fun!

One of my favorite parts of this wedding was exploring the property for portraits. We took full advantage of all the fun and unique locations the estate has to offer. From tree filled pathways, stunning covered bridge, dreamy garden spots, a stunning chapel and the iconic train car. It felt like stepping into a little fairy tale, and the couple fit perfectly into the dreamy atmosphere. 

The reception was just as fun as the rest of the day! All the details worked beautifully with the reception space and it was romantic, fun, and classy! The couple danced, laughed, and celebrated with all their guests, making for an incredible party and perfect end to their amazing wedding day. This winter wedding at the Estate on the Halifax in Port Orange was truly special, and it was so much fun to capture such a meaningful celebration in such a stunning place.
