Hilton Head, South Carolina Beach Wedding / Brandon and Alex

Brandon and Alex had an amazing Hilton Head Beach Wedding at The Westin and it was so much fun to photograph! They had a morning ceremony on the beach, followed by a brunch style reception which was amazing.

I started the morning with Alex and and her bridesmaids for getting getting ready photos at the hotel! The morning light coming through the windows of the hotel was stunning and gave so much dimension to the details. I was able to grab a few morning portraits of Brandon as he was getting ready as well!

Their ceremony was down on the sand and it was a chilly and windy morning with incredible sunshine! Brandon had the sweetest reaction when Alex walked down the aisle, and the love and emotions continued throughout the entire ceremony. They wrote their own vows and I don’t think there was a dry eye around when they read them.

After the ceremony, they signed the marriage license and we got started with portraits!! The ceremony arch, the ocean waves crashing, and a clear blue sky gave the perfect beachy backdrop. I absolutely love beach weddings and the casual yet soft and romantic vibes it creates in the images. It was the first time I’d photographed a beach wedding in the morning and I loved the variety!

After portraits, we headed back up to The Westin for the reception and brunch!! As Brandon and Alex entered the space, they had the biggest smiles and the happiness and excitement was contagious for the rest of the afternoon. They had a smaller guest list which gave them plenty of opportunity to spend quality time with each of their guests! Overall, it was an incredible morning and they had the best Hilton Head beach wedding possible!!
