St. Mary Magdalen and Historic Dubsdread Wedding / Orlando, FL
Emily and Andrew’s wedding day was one of those days that had incredible energy from beginning to end. They were lucky enough to have a gorgeous February day, an incredible church ceremony and Mass, and then a perfect Historic Dubsdread Wedding reception. Everything came together so perfectly.
The morning started at Emily’s childhood home, where she got ready with her bridesmaids. There was so much excitement in the air as Emily’s mom helped her get into her dress and prepare for the day. It was such a special place to begin a wedding day, surrounded by family, memories, and some of her favorite people. She even included her cat maple in the festivities!
Their ceremony took place at St. Mary Magdalen in Altamonte Springs, and it was absolutely beautiful. After they officially became husband and wife, we headed outside the church for portraits. The bridal party brought so much fun and energy to every photo, and Andrew’s groomsmen definitely kept everyone laughing. You could tell how excited they all were to celebrate him and Emily.
After the ceremony, we made our way to the ballroom for their Historic Dubsdread Wedding reception. Before joining cocktail hour, we spent some time exploring the property and golf course for portraits, and these ended up being some of my favorite images from the day. Emily and Andrew were so natural together in front of the camera and were completely themselves. Their connection was so easy to photograph and it made my job so incredibly easy!
The Historic Dubsdread Wedding reception was such a great time. The couple included a lot of personal details in their decor, and my favorite of those details were the custom napkins and cake topper of their cat. It was SO cute! Then the speeches were heartfelt, funny, and had everyone smiling. Once the dance floor opened, the party took off and never stopped. Their friends and family came ready to celebrate, and the dance floor stayed packed all night long.
Before the evening ended, we snuck outside for a few nighttime portraits under the twinkle lights, which added such a romantic touch to the portraits. Emily and Andrew then shared a private last dance before making their way through a sea of bubbles for their exit. It was the perfect ending to an amazing day and such a fun Historic Dubsdread Wedding to be a part of!
