The White Room St. Augustine / NYE Wedding
It was a chilly evening at The White Room St. Augustine and the perfect night for a New Year’s Eve wedding!! The White Room is located in the heart of Historic Downtown St. Augustine with a beautiful waterfront view. It also has a great view of the Night of Lights display that occurs during the holidays in Downtown. The entire downtown is decorated with thousands and thousands of lights that truly bring the holiday spirit to life. It also adds to the romantic ambiance of a NYE Wedding!
This was my first time photographing at The White Room St. Augustine as the second photographer for Myckenzie Russel Photography, and it did not disappoint! The couple started with a first look and portraits along the cobblestone streets of downtown, along with a vintage car to pose with. As evening approached, guests started arriving for their ceremony in The Villa Blanca. A gorgeous all white space with windows overlooking the river! They said their vows as the sun was setting and followed the ceremony by popping champagne on the balcony.
Dinner took place in The Grand Ballroom and the details, florals and decor were absolutely incredible! Lit mainly by candlelight, with black sparkling tablecloths, I couldn’t imagine a more perfect dinner display for NYE! Then it was upstairs to The White Room Loft and Rooftop for cocktails and dancing. The couple had a live band on the rooftop and their 250+ guests were having the best time dancing. It was overall a stunning evening and I couldn’t have imagined a better New Year’s Party!!
